Tryouts & Team Placement
Our placement process ensures every participant finds the right competitive level and team environment. No one is turned away.
1. Open Registration
All interested participants register online regardless of skill level. There is no prerequisite to try out.
2. Skills Assessment
Coaches evaluate gameplay mechanics, game knowledge, communication, and teamwork during structured tryout sessions. Attitude and coachability matter as much as skill.
3. Team Placement
Players are placed on Varsity or JV rosters matching their skill level, age group, and game title preferences. Every registered player receives a spot.
4. Development Track
Players on JV rosters receive targeted coaching to build skills for future Varsity promotion. No dead ends.
5. Mid-Season Reviews
Regular performance and conduct reviews allow players to move between rosters. Growth is rewarded.
Practice Expectations
Consistent practice builds better players and stronger teams. Here is what participants and families should expect.
Scheduled Sessions
Teams practice on a set weekly schedule published at the start of each season. Varsity teams typically practice 3 days per week; JV teams practice 2 days per week.
Session Structure
Every practice follows a structured format: warm-up, skills drills, strategy review, scrimmage, and cool-down debrief. Mandatory breaks are built into every session for hydration, stretching, and eye rest.
Attendance & Accountability
Regular attendance is expected. Unexcused absences may affect roster placement. We communicate schedule changes and cancellations promptly to parents.
Parent Communication
Families receive weekly practice schedules, match results, and coaching updates. Parents are welcome to observe any session and can reach coaching staff directly with questions.
